Grace Little is known as a versatile vocalist wiht a “warm, powerful contralto” as well as crowd-pleasing entertainer with a body of work that stretches back more than a quarter-century. She was 12 years old when she won the amateur night competition at the Apollo Theater. She has been part of the touring company of such Broadway productions as Dreamgirls, Oh Calcutta and The Wiz. In 2000, Little released a CD on the Philadelphia International Records label, “Somebody’s Gotta Move,” featuring the legendary soul balladeers, The Dells.
