My name is Chris O’Leary and I am a 7th grade teacher at Bordertown Regional Middle School.  I’ve been teaching here for 30 years, and while I have contemplated retiring, I’m not quite ready.  I still love what I do, so why not continue right?  After attending Trenton State College I’ve always felt a strong affinity for the city of Trenton–I don’t really look at the city for what it is–not to sugar coat it, but I look at the city for what it could become.  There is potential there and I have spent more time living in the city than anywhere else in my life.  Learning about the music is only one component of how I can see a way to make Trenton be the city it can and should be.
